Everything botkit.tech stores in your browser, in full. Nothing here is used for advertising or profiling.
1. The short version
We store two kinds of thing on your device.
- Strictly necessary — three small values that remember a choice you made. They are exempt from consent under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, they stay in your browser, and they are never sent anywhere.
- Analytics — Google Analytics cookies. These need your consent, they are off by default, and until you accept, the Google script is never even loaded.
We use no advertising cookies, no profiling, and no social-media trackers.
2. Strictly necessary — no consent needed
These are stored using your browser's localStorage, not cookies, which means they are never transmitted to any server — not even ours. Clearing your site data removes them.

3. Analytics — only if you accept
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It is set up so that IP addresses are truncated, and advertising signals are switched off via Google Consent Mode. We do not link it to Google Ads.
These cookies appear only after you press Accept. If you press Reject, or close the banner without choosing, no request is made to Google and no cookie is set.

4. Changing your mind
You can withdraw or give consent at any time — it takes one click, exactly like giving it did: open cookie settings.
When you withdraw, we stop analytics immediately and delete the Google Analytics cookies already in your browser. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use private browsing; the site works normally either way.
5. Changes to this page
If we ever add another tool that stores something on your device, we will list it here and ask you again before it runs. The date at the top tells you when this page last changed.
Prefer not to be counted?
That is a perfectly good answer, and the site behaves identically. Open the settings and press Reject.
