This guide is for people who follow many Telegram channels and chats and want one topic-based overview instead of opening every channel. Omnichannel Summary Bot runs inside Telegram; a Telegram account is required.
1. Start and review your sources
Open the official bot, @ChannelAggregator_Bot, and press Start. It may suggest trending public channels for your Telegram language and request an initial summary. Review that list in Manage channels; suggestions are optional and depend on what is available.
To add your own source, use Add by link and send a public channel or chat URL (t.me/name). You can also forward a post from a public source with a username. For a private channel or group, send its invite link (t.me/+…). If the chat requires approval, the bot sends a join request and tells you it is awaiting admin approval; posts from that chat are only included after an admin accepts the request, which is up to the chat's admins.
2. Set a schedule and timezone
Open Scheduled summaries to choose delivery times, then Set Timezone to select your local timezone. A new user's stored defaults are 09:00 and 19:00 UTC, although the onboarding flow can change them. Check the times shown in the bot after setup.
A digest needs posts to summarize. New sources may take time to collect posts, and an empty period may produce no useful summary.
3. Request a summary when you need one
Use Request summary in the bot menu for an on-demand overview. The default account has five sources and two summary requests per day; My limits shows the effective limit for your account. Plus raises the source limit to ten; Pro raises it to fifteen sources and five requests per day.
Paid options are purchased inside Telegram with Stars. Boost costs 5 Stars and adds three daily requests for 24 hours. On the Free plan, two included requests plus three paid Boost requests make five per day while Boost is active. Check My limits and the purchase screen before paying.
If a source or summary is missing
Check that the link is correct and complete, that you have room under My limits, and look for new posts after the source was added. For a public source, try the channel URL or a forwarded post with a username. For a private source, use a current invite link; if a join request is pending, posts appear only after an admin approves it.
AI summaries can omit context or merge related stories imperfectly. Open the original Telegram post before acting on a number, name or claim.
